Common issues
- "Your Mac agent is offline." Start it on your Mac with
apple-reminders-agent runand make sure the Mac is awake (tip:caffeinate -swhile plugged in). - macOS says it can't control Reminders. System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation → allow your terminal app to control Reminders.
- Reminders from iPhone missing. Confirm iCloud Reminders sync is enabled on both the iPhone and the Mac (Settings → iCloud → Reminders).
- Connector shows unauthorized. Remove and re-add the connector in your assistant to refresh the OAuth grant.
- New reminders land in the wrong list. Reminders you create without naming a list go to your default Reminders list — set it in the Reminders app (Settings → Reminders → Default List), or name the target list when you ask.
Uninstall / revoke access
- Stop and unpair the Mac agent: quit the process and delete
~/.apple-reminders-agent.json. - Remove the connector in your assistant's settings.
- Email us to delete your account and all associated data.
